I’ve been extremely busy lately and haven’t had time to update this blog. After I just saw this comment on the blog I decided that I had to write something. Anyways, I am going to be updating the widget very soon, and then I will be writting posts on a more regular basis. Tomorrow, I will hopefully be able to write a long post about where this blog is going. I’ll also try to post one or two interesting things. Until then, just hang on.

The above number (in its uncensored version) has made the internet go crazy. It can be used to break the copy protection on HD DVDs. I’m afraid that I’m not allowed to say more. If I do the DMCA will come and hunt me down and sue me. They’ve been attempting to censor the internet from every mention of it.

It is a humongous coincidence that the above number is very similar to my favorite number, which just so happens to be “09 f9 11 02 9d 74 e3 5b d8 41 56 c5 63 56 88 c0“. Maybe they are even the same number. I don’t know if they are, because of course I would never even think about That Other Number that the DMCA is going crazy about, let alone read it and compare it to my favorite number.

Anyways, I’m very upset that the DMCA is attempting to censor something that looks similar to my favorite number. Its been my favorite number for years. Now I’m going to get sued if I even say it?

I’m finally done with the first part of the tutorial on making widgets. To be honest, it doesn’t talk about widgets at all. It really is about HTML (which you need to know in order to make a widget), so if you’re on Linux or Windows, you can also learn something from it.

Besides for writing the other parts of the tutorial, I’m going to be doing a lot of other things in the next few weeks. One of the more important things I’ll be doing, is writing a BIG tutorial on how to install Linux (and more importantly, why you should install Linux). I’m not only going to go through the steps of installing Linux, but also I’m going to explain how to get several important things set up, and how to use Linux. Believe it or not, after using Linux for one month, I think its better than Mac OSX I’ll go into all the reasons why I think that another time. For now, I’ll give you one tiny reason why I think that Linux is better… Beryl. Beryl is a windows manager (don’t worry if you don’t know what that means) for Linux. You can set it up easily on any Linux computer in about five minutes. Here’s a video of Beryl.

I also am going to be switching domain names sometime soon. Check back sometime in the next month to find out what the new one will be.

Wow! I wasn’t expecting such a response when I updated the widget. 3264 3337 downloads so far. I use google analytics to track the traffic to this website. Here’s the graph for the past few days.

Anyways, there’s seems to be some problem with posting comments. I have to run out now, but when I get back, I’ll try to fix it, and to answer some of your questions.

I fixed a few bugs, and added more facts. There are now 700 facts! Wow!
