Dear Google, Please Stop This

I hate it when Google auto-corrects my searches without telling me.

I didn’t search for Magic or hotkeys. It’s okay to auto-correct, but give me an undo link.

  1. Ondra says:

    we’re lucky, there’s still a workaround

  2. Gus says:

Actually, at the bottom of the search screen, there is a link saying “filter for ‘magit’ only” or the like, which give the exact link that Ondra published.

It used to be at the top of the page too, I don’t know why they removed that one.

  3. Mike Roberts says:

If you put any term by itself in quotes, it wont autocorrect.
    For example in your case:
    “magit” shortcuts

  4. mvo says:

Heh! People still use Magit, awesome! Most key bindings should be visible in the menu, actually.

  5. Haricophile says:

Google becomes more and more painful and invasive.
Do not use any more Google or use indirectly

    best regards

a link back to mine. Please send me an email if interested.
    Many thanks!

I appreciate you finding the time and energy to put this article together.

It was funny. Keep on posting!

  10. I am regular reader, how are you everybody? This article posted at
this web site is in fact fastidious.

  11. Wow that was odd. I just wrote an incredibly long comment
but after I clicked submit my comment didn’t appear.
Grrrr… well I’m not writing all that over again.
Regardless, just wanted to say fantastic blog!

  12. Great post but I was wondering if you could write a litte
more on this subject? I’d be very grateful if you could elaborate
a little bit further. Thank you!

    A must read article!

  15. Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The words in your article seem to be running off the screen in Internet explorer.
I’m not sure if this is a format issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know.
The style and design look great though! Hope you get the issue fixed soon. Thanks

Thank you for the post. Just found your site and
have found some gokod info – thanks.

  19. I have recently come across your website. Thanks for the great

  20. The experience typically goes something like this: first, there is the shock of realizing your car is
not where it is supposed to be. However, if the cut is slightly bigger
or it is a sidewall puncture, tire repair is not a practical solution and the flat tire needs to be replaced.

Retaining paperwork helps in future reference while dealing
    with Chicago towing.

  21. Now that the Verizon i – Phone has made its way onto the market,
Verizon can look back and boast about some
of its contract features that others do not have.

Owning custom vehicles can be a very rewarding hobby, but it also comes at the cost of quite
a bit of inconvenience. Sometimes these people might find a buyer,
and in these cases the car can be towed to the buyer’s house (typically with the buyer
    footing the bill).

It’s truly very complicated in this full of activity life to listen news
on Television, so I simply use web for that purpose,
    and take the newest information.

  23. If your car is crashed even if you only have body damage many times the insurance agency will declare your car “totaled” and the car will go the junk
yard. When cars are wrecked, or if they have become too old for one to use, they can be sold through
this process of sale instead of throwing the machine away.
Your forth option is to donate your car to charity.

  24. Christal says:

Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that
automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.
I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some
time and was hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like
this. Please let me know if you run into anything. I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your
    new updates.

  25. Democrats fearful of backlash have told the Obama administration they would “actively oppose” any renewal of the assault weapons
ban. The production necessitates Germany’s local
brands that include BMW and Volkswagen combined with American and other sorts of brands.
So eventually your car will need repairs that cost more than the
    car’s value.

  26. If you feel like you’ve already betrayed your current partner emotionally (from the information you give, I don’t know if I agree that you have, but you’d know better than me), and if you want to be honest with everyone involved (and there is no doubt in my mind that you should), I don’t think you have any choice but to tell your current partner about what’s going on, then go on from there. The story of a middle aged Minneapolis woman who lost her job at a nonprofit agency and was in danger of losing her home was the backbone of the film. She successfully rallied supporters at the local “Occupy” movement to occupy her home to keep it from being repossessed. She became the tired and disappointed face of what happens when the rich get richer and the middle class becomes homeless.
