I&#039;m planning on committing some code soon related to the first point- I think it should answer your question.

Regarding the tags browser, I know it&#039;s already possible to view documents by their tags and date. (Heck, I even wrote a chunk of the code myself.) However, I&#039;d like to make the GUI a bit more fluid and easier to use.

As you know, I&#039;m a bit busy at the moment, but I&#039;ll be back working on Zeitgeist&#039;s code by next week. If you let me know when you&#039;ll be available, we&#039;ll work out a time to discuss the database on IRC.</description>

As for the second point! Why not use the most common tags browser to view the items with sharing this tags and when they were accessed! It is already possible!
The new Database design is a must! I would recommend an IRC meeting with Thorsten and Federico to discuss that matter! 
I totally agree with having to change the the open file dialog! 
Why not create a new todo list for ourselves! There is one in the code!</description>
